Tavia's precision dial indicator deck bridge stands span a full 4 1/2" accross the top of cylinder bores. Available both in magnetic and non-magnetic designs, these stands allow the engine builder to check critical top of the piston and piston to deck surface measurements. Tavia stands have three hole locations to accomodate multiple placement of the dial indicator(s). This is most valuable when checking piston rock. Model #08052 also includes dial caliper mounts located on the back side of the stand. Completely CNC precision machined from T6 aluminum and anodized for a long lasting easy to clean finish.

Tavia's multi axis precision magnetic dial indicator base features a full 100lb magnetic pull for an extra rigid way to hold a dial indicator in position while taking critical precise measurements. This is a very versatile tool to use for indicating camshafts, endplay, runouts, etc. Front mounted on-off switch provides for easy positioning and placement. Tavia's precision CNC machined (not a stamping) TDC plate and stop will precisely locate top dead center during short block assembly. Features include a fine adjustment positive stop and lock nut, will accomodate up to 1/2" bolts. For checking top dead center on an engine that is already assembled, Tavia offers both 14mm and 18mm sparkplug hole type adjustable positive stops.
