Tavia's high quality, high performance fasteners are manufactured from premium grade heat treated alloy steel featuring fully rolled threads and three distint bolt head configurations to meet the needs of the disciminating engine builder. All Tavia external engine fasteners are finished in a bright gold iridite with most exhaust header bolts finished in a rich black oxide for maximum torque performance and corrosion resistance. All Tavia hardware packages include premium precision stamped, made in the USA AN mil spec washers where applicable.
Tavia's Performance Engine Fastener Kits contain all the external fastener hardware required for complete model year coverage. Includes early and late water pumps, thermostat housings, and intake manifold combinations. These kits are available in three different fastener head configurations, socket head, hex head, and 12 point designs. 01500 thru 1802 FAQS All kits include fasteners for the following:Intake manifold, coil bracket, headers, timing cover, distibutor holdown, oil pan, motor mounts, water pump, thermostat housing, and fuel pump. Tavia's hex head and 12 point head fastener designs feature a compact extra thick integral flange and the wrench size is a compact 7/16" size to provide maximum clearance in tight confined engine compartment cylinder head/exhaust header applications. Socket head and 12 point header bolts feature rich black oxide finish, hex head header bolts have zinc gold iridite finish. All fasteners are heat treated for strength for their intended application.
