What is the best way to hold the vise while I am using it?
The connecting rod vise is configured with a small bottom bracket bolted to the bottom of it so that you can clamp this piece in another bench type vise. If you prefer to bolt the connecting rod vise in place on a bench for a more permanent installation, this small bracket can easily be removed.
What is the maximum distance measured inbetween the posts on the connecting rod vise? IE: maximum width of the connecting rod ?
The total maximum width is 4.8 inches
What is the maximum distance in height the connecting rod vise will open to?
The total maximum open height is 3.2 inches
